United Way Montcalm-Ionia Investment in Community Programs Increases by 3%
Fenwick, Michigan- The annual fund allocation process through United Way Montcalm-Ionia (UWMI) Counties will invest at least $157,500 into 30 local programs. “The Community Investment Committees and the United Way Board of Directors made awards to agencies that address the needs of children, families and the community, and focus on education, income, health and basic needs, the building blocks for a good future”, said Roger A. Thelen Executive Director UWMI.
Organizations receiving investments are: Alpha Family Center; American Red Cross; Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired; Big Brothers/Big Sisters Montcalm; Big Brothers/Big Sisters Capital Area; Boy Scouts of America-President Ford Council; Cherry Health; Community Hope Christian Counseling; Dolly Parton Imagination Library-Ionia; Dolly Parton Imagination Library-Montcalm; ENRICH of Ionia County; Feeding America; 4-H Advisory Council-Montcalm; Four Health Family Resource Center; Habitat for Humanity-Montcalm; Have Mercy; IM Families Against Narcotics; IM Kids 3rd Meal; Ionia County Conservation District Environmental Education; Montcalm Ionia College Access Network; Montcalm Area Reading Council; Montcalm CASA; Montcalm Great Start Math Literacy; Optimist Camp for Persons with Disabilities; RAVE; River’s Edge Drop-In Center; Spectrum Health Foundation-MIHP; Straight Street; We Care for Kids Council; and YMCA of Ionia.
