Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. Local nonprofits in Montcalm and Ionia Counties can learn how to mitigate the impacts in the midst of chaos by attending this training.

When: February 5, 2019

Where: United Way Montcalm-Ionia Counties

Time: Lunch is 12-1, Training is 1- 4 pm

Who should attend: Montcalm or Ionia County Nonprofits

Attendance is limited. Sign up today.

Attire: Relaxed Comfortable as we will be actively participating in drills.

Why:
Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. In the midst of the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. United Way aims to enhance preparedness through a "whole community" approach by providing training to those small nonprofits that otherwise might not participate in Active Shooter Training elsewhere.
