Know The Need - Trauma Informed Community is a day-long facilitated learning exchange designed to understand trauma behaviors in employees, clients, students, and individuals. And, to create systems for supporting trauma cultures. This event is designed for all areas of business, education, human services, law enforcement, medical, religious, individuals and organizational teams.

Building a Trauma-informed Community Through Partnerships

SEPTEMBER 18, 2017

from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. with registration from 8:30 A.M.-9:00 A.M.  in rooms D303/305 in the Beatrice E. Doser building on MCC's Sidney campus.

Facilitated by Matt Militello.

Matthew Militello is the Wells Fargo Distinguished Professor in Educational Leadership at East Carolina University. He has held faculty positions at North Carolina State University (2008-2014) and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (2005-2008).

Lunch will be provided.

Who should attend:  All areas of business, education, human services, law enforcement, medical, religious, individuals and oranizational teams.

Reasons to attend:  To understand trauma behaviors in employees, clients, students and individuals
To create systems for suporting trauma cultures.

Outcomes:  Adverse Childhood Experiences study training, Current initiatives, Community actions steps, Tools and support

$20 Registration with a September 12, 2017 deadline.
